Enhanced electronic documents
The docmetrics system allows users to enhance their standard PDF files, creating docmetrics documents that – unlike standard PDFs – are able to include
- dynamic in-document forms which provide data on who reads content
- document analytics technology which measures how readers read content
Docmetrics users enhance their documents using a simple five-step wizard:
- Upload a regular PDF to the docmetrics server for processing
- Provide additional document keywords, tags and other metadata
- Enable document analytics functionality, if required
- Add in-document forms, if required
- Download the enhanced docmetrics document

Dynamic in-document forms
Docmetrics allows users to embed dynamic forms within their enhanced documents, to collect reader data in real time. These forms empower marketers to
- capture data on all their readers – including “pass along” readers
- gather detailed lead qualification data, without impacting the reader experience
Docmetrics forms are fully customizable. Users can customize forms by
- choosing which form fields to include (survey questions, registration fields etc)
- arranging form fields (by dragging and dropping items)
- changing the look and feel of forms (e.g. with company logos and color schemes)
Docmetrics users can also customize how forms behave within documents by
- determining which pages forms appear on
- requiring readers to complete forms to access specific parts of a document
- allowing readers to skip forms they do not wish to complete

Real-time analytic reports
Docmetrics makes it easy for users to create analytic reports that provide actionable insight into the data generated by their documents. There are two main types of report:
- Lead Generation Reports which empower marketers to identify new leads, high-quality prospects and key organizations
- Document Analytics Reports which provide detailed insight into which types of document style and content engage readers most effectively
